Another year in the books

Well what can I say a great nigh weather wise, turnout wise and racing wise , The night started with invocation by the Honorable Peter Bradstreet followed by a blow your socks off version of the National Anthem by Twin Tiers Idol winner Evan Dillon whom next will fly to San Francisco, California to audition for American Idol, and from what I heard keep your eyes and ears open for this guy. Then the heats began with alot of good hard racing heat winners were as follows: heat 1 Lauren Barrett from Steuben Co. Jail heat 2 Inv. Jeff Albright NYSP Bath heat 3 Inv. Brian Langtry NYSP Horseheads heat 4 Patricia Dankosh Steuben Co.Probation heat 5 Inv. Allison Regan NYSP Painted Post heat 6 Jason Barrett Steuben Co.Sheriffs Dispatch And when the six winners took the track for the Main Event the crowd was not let down as Honorary starter Jeffrey Sutherland threw the flag in perfect form and away they went with a little "rubbin is racin" and at one time three wide out of turn 4 some amazing saves and even one car still handled the track with a blown Right front , It appeard that 2009 winner Jason Barrett was about to repeat as he come down the front stretch on the last lap "Tasting the victory" BUT Allison " Danika Patrick" Regan said "NOT THIS YEAR" and passed to win with about 20 feet to go , and so as the story goes the 2010 GOLDEN DOUGHNUT TROPHY will be sitting on the desk of Inv.Allison Regan this year. And as a foot note for those on the "Other Side" of the law if you plan on running you better make sure Allison or any of the heat winners are in the car behind you!
