My name is Scott A. Rodbourn of Bath, New York and am the owner & driver of the #12 Ford that I pilot at Blackrock Speedway located in nearby Dundee. Each year I sponsor an annual fundraising event that I have named “Racing For a Reason”. The event started in 2006 following the death of NYS Trooper Andrew J. Sperr whom was fatally shot and killed following a bank robbery near Big Flats, on July 8th of that year my original intent was only to raise awareness but the outpouring was so great that I put together a raffle and raised nearly $1200. All of the money raised was donated to fund a memorial park marking the location where Trooper Sperr lost his life.
The project was a great success and a total of $3,020 was raised and donated for the purchase of International Phone Cards for our troops! Misc 2008 Photos ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 2008 Arnot Mall Photos
